Hotkeys, input menus and refresh gymnastics are the reason multi-screen kit gets abandoned. The S980 auto senses the incoming signal, wakes the three 15.3 inch panels and lays them out as extended displays without a keypress. Unplug and the panels sleep; reconnect and they return in the previous arrangement. Users describe it as the monitor simply being there when the lid opens.
- Signal detection on the USB-C link, with automatic wake on connection.
- Display arrangement is remembered per laptop, so layouts survive reboots.
- No hotkey, OSD menu or refresh sequence during daily use.
- Sleep on disconnect reduces standby power on shared desks.
- Works the same way on Win 10, Win 11 and macOS.
- Brightness and colour remain consistent across all three panels.
